He makes me lie down in green pastures.
He leads me beside still waters.
He restores my soul.
Psalm 23:2-3
Who I am not is a theologian, writer, minister, nor spelling bee champion.
Who I am is a broken and reborn child of God on a mission to experience life the way the Lord intended, but in order to begin to live out that calling, I have a lot of lessons to learn, relearn and heal through.
Living life in the way of the world wasn’t working out for me. I was angry, hurt, resentful, and projecting all the turmoil I’ve kept buried inside onto others.
I didn’t understand there was any other way to live until I met Jesus, head on in relationship.
This blog is simply a way for me to process His word and to pause long enough to see how even when I was far removed from Him and living the prodigal life, He was never far removed from me.
The posts are long and raw. They’re not curated nor perfect in grammar or sentence structure. Some parts may even be theologically inaccurate, taken a little out of context, or simply make no sense to anyone but myself.
The point of all this is for my personal healing. The stories within are of how I have come closer to knowing the heart of Christ through, what I now understand are, lessons that are never too late to be learn.
